 A male Carolina Wren sings at first light. He has a repertoire of several different song variations and will sing one about 15 times before changing his tune. 

 Wild Nanday Parakeets escaped from captivity and have established large feral populations in the Tampa Bay area and along Florida’s southeastern coast. 

 Roseate Spoonbills are pale pink birds with brighter pink shoulders and rump. They have a white neck and a partially feathered, yellowish green head from which their red eyes shine.
